We made quick work of them this morning!
Danny Morlen and his family joined us for some striped bass fishing this morning. We got an early start and made our way upstream and managed to find the bass ~10 miles from the dock. We got our lines out and began catching fish immediately. By 11:00, we had all that we could keep.
Thank you to the Morlen family for making the trip with Will & I. Your years of continued business with Dad & I means a lot to me. I look forward to having you back again.
I am moving the boat back to our dock in Reedville tomorrow for Cobia season. Along with the warmer weather, a big wave of these fish have shown up in the Chesapeake Bay. This fishery is a true trophy season. With the minimum size limit on these fish being 40″ a keeper Cobia can certainly be the fish of a lifetime and a real thrill to fight to the boat. I have dates available to fish for Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and Red Drum in July and August. Give me a call to get your trip on my calendar.
Best regards,
Joe Biddlecomb
