Finally some common sense from Richmond
I hope that you and your families have all weathered this pandemic well so far. These are interesting times to say the least.
I received an Email from the Virginia Marine Resource Commission yesterday with the good news that Charter Fishing will be allowed to begin effective 5/15/2020.
Please be assured that we will take all required precautions to keep you safe during your trip with us. Now lets get out of the house, on the water and do some fishing! Sunlight is the best disinfectant. The only Corona that we will be exposed to is what you bring in your cooler.
I currently have some dates available in late May, June 13, 14, 28 and plenty dates in July and Aug. As always, we have on-site lodging available for you the night before your trip. Drop me a line to get your trip on the schedule and get rid of your case of cabin fever.
Agency News
May 8, 2020: Effective May 15th and per the authority in the Governor’s Executive Orders 53 and 55, Charter Fishing Vessels are allowed to resume operation under the following rules. These rules were developed with input from the industry and guidance from the CDC. These guidelines will remain in effect until further notice from VMRC. We will continue to work with the Governor’s office to decide when to ease these guidelines. If you have any additional questions please email [email protected].
